Almighty God,
we praise you for your presence
in our lives and ask that you continue
to build us into a loving community.
May your light shine through us
and forever be a blessing
to all who come here to worship.
With Christ as our foundation,
renew and strengthen us for the future.
Send us your Spirit
to make St. James a holy place
of safety and hospitality,
of growth and grace,
of nurturing and healing.
Help us to act justly,
love tenderly and walk humbly
as we live our Catholic faith.
