Reading and Reflection

Reading I:   Deuteronomy 26: 16 - 19
Responsorial Psalm:   Psalm 119: 1 - 2, 4 - 5, 7 - 8
Gospel:   Matthew 5: 43 - 48

Psalm 18:8  God protects us always, brings our enemies to their knees.   He will always be there for us.  He forgives our sins.   Praise be to God for his love.

Psalm 19  Be happy and serve Him.   Keep his promises in our heart and obey God.   Our reward will be great in Heaven.   Be righteous in all we do and He will be with us always.  Thank you God for being there always.

II Corinthians 6:2b   God has been good to us and has answered our pleas.   Now is the time to do something in return for all the good he has done for all of us.   Let us thank you Jesus for always being there.

Matthew 5:48   God wants us to strive to be perfect.   We want to be with God for all time.   We want him to include us when seating those for heaven.    JP

Reminder:   Rice Bowls are in the Narthex with great suggestions for Lenten sacrifices.
