Wednesday of the First Week in Ordinary Time

Reading and Reflection

First Reading:   1 Samuel 3:1-10, 19-20
Responsorial Psalm:   Psalm 40:2, 5, 7-8a, 8b-9, 10
Gospel:   Mark 1:29-39

We can be joyful and at peace knowing that we have God to turn to always.   I've got meaning and hope now that I know that God is right here loving and protecting me, caring and giving me grace.

When we surrender and trust God when times are good and bad, we then communicate with each other.   We then understand he will be with us and will never abandon us.   HE wants to be with us always if we believe and love him back.   Thank God for being there each and every day - good and bad days forever!

We have God's presence wherever we go and we can trust him more than we can comprehend.   God love us - He is awesome.   Because Jesus died on the cross, we now have the promise of eternal grace of being with God always.   I feel more at peace because God is with me always - especially when I am afraid.   God is awesome.   JP
