Stocking Project 2017

It's that time of year again for the annual Siena Stocking Collection.   Each year we make about 700 adult Christmas Stockings (made from a pair of socks stuffed with gloves, scarf, hot chocolate packet, and a few pieces of candy) for the homeless at the Siena Francis Homeless Shelter.   Plus we make over 120 "Santa Socks" for the kiddos staying at Siena and Open Door Mission and for those who are just stopping by for a warm meal.   Donations can be placed in the collection box in the narthex.  To help cover the costs of items not donated, you can drop your change in a Siena Stocking before or after Masses on December 16/17.

Items needed:
Men and Women:  White crew or tube socks, gloves, toothbrushes, travel size tooth paste, assorted candy, hot chocolate packets and candy canes.

Kiddos ages infant to 18 years old:
Hats and gloves, stocking stuffers, small toys and trinkets such as hot wheels cars, dolls, action figures, My Little Ponies, small books and note pads, stuffed animals, crayons, coloring books, Play-Doh, bouncy balls, chap stick, playing cards, nail polish, hair care items, baby rattles, and individually wrapped snack size food items, candy and gum.
