Marilyn was born in Corwith, IA, to George W. and Mary E. (Steil) Brazee. In death she rejoins her husband of 45 years, S. Clair; children, Patricia Ann, Christopher Michael and Lucinda Jo; her parents; sisters, Margaret J. (Everett) Slaughter, Shirley R. (Jim) Mennig; brother, Raymond G. Brazee; and brother-in-law, Don Weiss. Clair and Marilyn were married June 10, 1956 at Sacred heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove, IA. They moved to the Omaha area in 1958. Their children were raised in the Bennington/Omaha area. Left to cherish Marilyn's memory are her son, Adam Flogstad; daughters, Jeanette M. (Todd) Donnelly and Ruth E. (Terry) Wilkinson; nine grandchildren: Matthew Flogstad, Mary (Joey) Flogstad, Amanda Anderson, Bill (Sana) Jacobsen, Brady Jacobsen (Daniela), Patrick and Chistian Donnelly, Gage and Grace Flogstad; two great-grandchildren, Jaylin Anderson and Emily Jo Flogstad; sister, Sharon Weiss; many nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.

VISITATION with family at 10am Friday at St. James Catholic Church, 4710 North 90th Street, Omaha, Nebraska.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 11am Friday at St. James Catholic Church, with a luncheon immediately following the Mass.

Visitation on Monday, April 1 from 5-7pm at the West Center Chapel of Heafey Mortuary, with a Vigil Service at 7pm.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 2 at 11am at St. James Catholic Church, 4720 N. 90th St.
There will be a funeral luncheon immediately after the Mass.
A procession to Calvary cemetery will leave at 1pm for the burial rites.

Feld, James E.

December 17, 1932 - January 18, 2019

Dr. James Edward Feld, DDS, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2019, with Betty, his wife of thirty-nine years, at his side. He was born in Oelwein, Iowa, to Dr. John W. Feld and Esther Crahan Feld on December 17, 1932. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1951. Jim studied Science with a major in Chemistry at the University of Notre Dame and then attended St. Louis University School of Dentistry where he was awarded DDS in 1958. Following Dental School, Dr. Feld served his country as a Staff Dentist in the U.S. Army. He returned to Oelwein following his father's death to assist family and continue his father's practice. In 1964 Dr. Feld was a Democratic candidate to represent Iowa's second congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. Dr. Feld served fellow veterans as a Dentist at the Veterans Administration Hospitals in Omaha and Des Moines. During his retirement Jim enjoyed playing golf and volunteering for the Des Moines Crime Stoppers as well as traveling with Betty and spending time with family. Dr. Feld is survived by his wife, Betty Feld, whom he married on October 26, 1979. He is also survived by nephews, Stephen Feld (Julie) and Daniel Feld; nieces, Angela Wilkinson (Blake) and Terese Fisher (John); grandchildren: Lindsay, Kirsten, Nick and Jennifer; and great-granddaughter, Riley. Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Michael, and his sisters, Mary Agnes and Janet.

VISITATION begins on Thursday, Jan. 24th at 4pm at Heafey-Hoffman-Doarak-Cutler, West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Rd.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, Jan. 25th at 10:30am, St. James Catholic Church, 4720 N. 90th St.

Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Luncheon will be held at the mortuary following burial.

Memorials to St. James Catholic Church and Nebraska Humane Society.
