Anointing of the Sick is a healing Sacrament bestowed upon those who are chronically or terminally ill. The special grace of this Sacrament is also offered prior to surgery. The Sacrament is celebrated sometimes at the Saturday Mass for anyone who has a serious or chronic illness, is preparing for surgery or is over the age of 65.
